I’m not from a tech or data background. Is this course for me?
I already know some Power BI. Will this course still be valuable?
Definitely. This masterclass covers beginner to advanced concepts, including DAX formulas, advanced visualizations. Even experienced users can sharpen their skills and learn techniques to work faster and smarter.
Will I need a Power BI License?
No. This course will be using the free Power BI Desktop application. You don’t need any license to use that. You can get the application for free. You will only need a license when we explore Power BI Service. If you don’t have one, we show you how you can set one up for free by activating a free trial license.
Do I need to be good in Excel / Power Query or Power Pivot?
You don’t need to have prior knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot or even Excel to take this course. We start from scratch. I’ll introduce you to the important aspects of Power BI including Power Query, data modelling and DAX. The side benefit is that as you become good at Power BI, you automatically become a Power Excel user. You’ll be able to use Power Query and Power Pivot in Excel like a pro!
